Light bodies red wine with a nice high acidity, perfect to pair with meat dishes and strong cheeses

Grapes from old vines in field blended vineyards, of the following varieties: mainly Catelao , Alicante Bouchet, Moreto, Trincadeira, Syrah. This wine mirror a secular tradition where people from Borba alentejo meets at 11:am for a break and glass of wine in the local tabernas.

ORIGIN Grapes from the region around Borba Alentejo Portugal, this region is well known for the vast lands, where the hottest temperatures in Portugal. From Alentejo comes bold good balance wines, full of character, with good labels, of alcohol, this region wine history goes back 2000 years ago, where people from North Africa arrived.
VINIFICATION Hand-picked grapes, reception with full destemming, followed by crushing and cooling. Fermentation in vats of 18 ton, with maceration at a temperature around 26ºC.
